The book contains over 30 designs including the one on the cover. We will
be doing Camelia #4, the one on the cover.

Fabric/Thread Options
Camelia #4 (Page 23)
The book is meant to accomodate a variety of design choices, but to replicate
the design on the cover (black and white) you will need:
Black and White
- Black Congress Cloth 12" x 12"
- 1 spool #12 perle cotton, white
- 1 skein floss, white (you stitch with one strand)
Design is 128 by 128 threads
Red and Gold
- Black Congress Cloth 12" x 12"
- 1 spool #12 perle cotton, red
- 1 spool DMC Fil D'or. Used one strand for all gold work
- 1 skein each, stranded silk and stranded rayon (red). Used one strand.
- 1 skein Kreinik Braid fine
Alternate fabrics
- 13" x 13" 18 ct canvas
- 15" x 15" 14t ct canvas (get bigger threads)
- Possibly even count Jobelin (can stitch over 2) - AVOID
linen because weave is uneven
