HIPAA "To Do" List, Part I
This site is an Audio Teleconference outline from a conference sponsored by the American Medical Association. The conference was held in September of 2001 and was to prepare health care providers for the upcoming implementation of HIPAA.
Two ideas that are stressed is evaluating your current practices and educating employees. It could be that you will not have to make sweeping changes. This site will help you decide and also help you not to "panic."
