So, here is some information about my interests, hobbies,
and other things that I find enjoyable.
 | Autos - As I mentioned on my Home Page, I am somewhat into
cars and racing. The following is a list of some of the cars
I've owned and have enjoyed:
 | 1968 VW Bug (my first car while in college) |
 | 1967 MGB convertible (my first indugence) |
 | 1965 BMW 2002 (my commuter car) |
 | 1967 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 (it was cheap before Enzo died, sold for
a profit but not missed) |
 | 1967 Jaguar E Type convertible (pure sex appeal, sold for a
profit but sorely missed) |
 | 1986 VW Scirocco (current autocross car) |
 | 2003 Nissan Murano (current work car - and I love it!) |
 | 1990 Jaguar XJS (replacement for missed XKE, albeit a poor one) |

 | Horses - My wife got me interested in riding. She had
taken lessons while in Europe and her fascination with horses came
from her childhood. When we moved to Pennsylvania, she took up
riding again, and in an effort to be mutually supportive, I started
riding as well. I found that I really liked to ride and were
quite active in the local Hunter/Jumper circuit. My wife is a
past President of our local Dressage association and is active in
putting on horse shows, clinics, and other riding programs. I've
pretty much retired from riding horses. |
 | Motorcycle - Okay, so I am now going through my second...or
is it my third...childhood. I purchased a 1996 BMW R1100R
motorcycle a couple of years ago and have discovered the joys of
riding the back country roads of Central Pennsylvania on my bike.
My ambition is to ride the bike across country some day and to use the
bike more for getting around to visit my clients with work. Who
knows, maybe one day I can change the heading for this section to
Motorcycles, as I'd love to get a new BMW R1200RT for taking those
long distance trips. |
 | Travel - Perhaps it was because I grew up as an
Air Force brat, but I've always loved to travel. To me, the most
enjoyable part of traveling was sitting in the airplane or car and
wondering what new things I would experience. To that end,
I recently visited my cousin in Poland, and traveled a bit around the
country on a voyage of personal discovery. I found the town from
which my grandfather emigrated and I did the tourist thing in both
Warsaw and Krakow. The pictures of my trip can be found here. |
 | Acting - As a Project, Program, Department
Manager, Division Manager, and company Vice President throughout the
course of my career, I've often felt like I was playing a role.
Well, thanks to the folks at
Allenberry, I have been given the opportunity to play a role.
For the past several years, I have played a recurring character in the
Murder Mystery productions written by Bob Crawford. Playing one
half of a duo of local yokels who get into all kinds of predicaments,
I think Bob just writes our characters to see whether we'll ever get
embarrassed by some of the crazy things he makes us do. The
local yokels are named Murray and Cod (I play Cod) and they even have
their own website, Murray and
Cod dot com.... |
