SELECTING A TOTAL COMPUTER-BASED TRAINING PACKAGE CHECKLIST

Because the computer-based training program you are reviewing might be a combination of products, providers, and sites, you need to look at these services in combination in order to select the best total computer-based training package. The checklist on the next page lets you combine the results from your product, provider, and site checklists by following these steps:

Instructions

1. Place the names of the CBT product/ provider/ sites you are reviewing at the top of the four right-hand columns.
2. Insert the check mark totals from the earlier checklists (training product, on-site assistance, off-site assistance, customization, and training site).
3. Insert the costs of the CBT product/provider/sites.
4. Compare the totals, grand totals, and costs of the items you are reviewing. Do not rely solely on these summary figures. Where the numbers are close, look back at which traits the CBT product/provider/sites did or did not include. Some of these may be more important to you than others.
