Scout - Black & Tan 2.5 Year Old June, 2005 |
She drools. Slobber marks are on all our walls. She loves to give kisses. She wakes you up in the middle of the night with her nose. She ever so secretively sneaks on the bed and pushes you off as she expands across the entire mattress. She smells like hound and must have a weekly bath to help with the itches and oily fur. That is OK with her as she loves the water and jumps right in the bathtub. Every day she has her ritual. Breakfast at 6am, followed by a walk, then meds (ear clean, happy pill, allergy pill, and sulfadene for hot spots) and finally, a relaxing rawhide chew. Unfortunately, she loves her morning ritual so much that she tries to convince us that a better time to start is not at 6am, but at 5am or 4am or even 3am. This usually means time to go in the crate! Life without Scout? No Way! All is good for this Coonhound and the family that loves her.
