PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

In May 1999 I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico (Cayey) with a degree on Secondary English Education. By August of that same year I had found not one, but two jobs in my hometown (Villalba). It was not easy to go from one school to the other in the same day, but I was able to manage. The following year I started applying to graduate school and got accepted to enter the Bilingual/Multicultural Education M.Ed program at Penn State for the Spring of 2001. I packed some of my belongings and arrived to State College, PA. on a very cold aftenoon.
