Selected Readings, No 69

April 15, 1999

"In this Work, when it shall be found that much is omitted, let it not be forgotten that much likewise is performed." -- Samuel Johnson

Greetings! Selected Readings is compiled and edited by Kevin Berland, with the able assistance of the Volunteer Fire Brigade, viz., Rachel Bennett, Erin Blake, Dorothy Medlin, Benoît Melançon, Anne-Marie Mercier-Faivre, Patricia Michaelson, Lurana O'Malley, Max Novak, and A.J. Wright, not to mention the ever-present company of the Man in the Funny Hat, the Operator of the Moderately Elegant Machines, the Blue Distance Woman, and the Secret Admirer.

What kinds of things make it into the bibliography? Good question! Please see the explanations and caveats on the Selected Readings Modus Operandi Page.

New websites are listed here, indicated by the blue star in the margin. These and other links provided in this issue were operational on the publication date; if you're visiting in the future (relatively speaking) we cannot ensure the links will still be operational.

Contributions of new bibliographical materials are always welcome. Send them as email to the netwallah: bcj@psu.edu
