What a great weekend!!
After visiting the QVC
studios and then doing some major shopping at the King of
Prussia mall, my sister (Patty) and I met up with Lynn (Snails)
in front of the Glenside venue. We went around the back and talked
to Steve Jay for a few minutes and I bought his CD (it's great...really,
really great). See, everytime I'd see Steve it seemed that he
didn't have any of his CD's on him so I e-mailed him to let him
know I'd be at the Glenside show. He said "Come up to me
and say, "Steve, go out to the bus and get your CD and here's
your stinkin' $15.00." so that's exactly what I did. He laughed
and then proceeded to salute me. :-) Jon came out and we chatted
for only a few minutes then we headed inside to our seats. I saw
many people there that I'd met before and met a few new people.
I saw someone with an Al Gal shirt on so I went to introduce myself.
It was Kitty. She was with Maed but unfortunately I didn't get
to meet her. My "fiance" Dave Rossi (aka Elvis), was
there with his friends Christina and Amanda Deer (remember kids,
it's a pretend engagement) and Katelyn was there with her mom.
This is my 10th show of the RWC tour and it amazes me how every
show is just a little bit different. Steve seemed to be smiling
all night and Danny Brant did a fantastic job. It has to be hard
being the new guy but he did a great job. The DTBS
outfit is so big on him and it looked so cute. The show was
very energetic and Christina was the lucky recipient of the last
scarf and Katelyn got the boxers. The rest of the show went well
but a few songs were left out due to Al's laryngitis. I have to
some day ask Al exactly how you "hitch up butter." :-)
We left to head back to Delaware right after the show but I heard the next night that Al went right to the bus after the show and didn't do a meet and greet.
Finally a somewhat decent shot of Jon.
They call me the king of the spreadsheets.
