Student Services Review
Newsletter of Teaching & Learning at Penn State York
Best Practices, Teaching Tips, Ideas, Resources, What's NEW!!
Volume 3 Issue 1 January/February 2008
As we approach the half-way point of this spring semester, surrounded by flu, mid-winter blues, and a deep longing to get out into the garden...I thought it might be a good time to review some of our student services.
If we are impacted by this time of year, imagine how much more our students may be feeling as they juggle school, work, and families. Oftentimes we might be the ones to spot changes in student behavior or demeanor. That doesn't mean we are counselors, but we can be the ones to reach out to make suggestions to students to seek out assistance through the many venues available. This newsletter seeks to review some of the services available on campus that you could recommend to students.
