Pulse Laser Vaporization (PLV):
After reading this page on Pulse Laser Vaporization (PLV) you will
have a more detailed definition of how it works to produce single walled
nanotubes (SWNT's). If you don't know what pulse laser vaporization
means please refer back to "Nanotubes."
A meaning can be found under "Growing Nanotubes."
(PLV) Schematic:
The Pulsed Laser Vaporization synthesis system, basically, consist
of three parts: the Laser, the Optical Delay and the Reactor as schematically
shown in the figure below. It is used to synthesize nanotubes: carbon
nanotubes, boron nitride nanotubes etc and semiconductor nanostructures:
nanoparticles, nanowires and nanowires super lattices.
More information we will be posted. Please check back soon.
