Pulse Laser Vaporization (PLV):

(PLV) Schematic:

The Pulsed Laser Vaporization synthesis system, basically, consist of three parts: the Laser, the Optical Delay and the Reactor as schematically shown in the figure below. It is used to synthesize nanotubes: carbon nanotubes, boron nitride nanotubes etc and semiconductor nanostructures: nanoparticles, nanowires and nanowires super lattices.
