My research focuses on the development of individual differences in cognition and social behavior from a neuroscience perspective. I am particularly interested in the effects of prenatal sex hormones on the development of sex-typed behaviors, and how these effects are mediated directly by the brain and indirectly through the social environment.My behavioral studies of children and adults exposed to high prenatal levels of androgens have been supported by the National Institutes of Child Health and Human Development since 1985. |
