The PSD/IAI recognizes the vital role and importance of its relationship with vendors in the forensic field. It is hoped that this page will assist you with understanding means and ways to further foster this relationship.

Web advertising: in that our original web home is based through Officer Hoffman's employer, Penn State, no "for profit" or otherwise commercial activity or endorsement can be placed on the site. There is a member's page, where departments/employers of members are listed. If that agency has a web site, a link is established.

Newsletter advertising: we generally publish a fall and a spring newsletter. This is usually a fairly informal publication and we have not historically sold advertising for this project. To reduce costs and the burden on the editor, we are converting more mailings to an electronic format. Any inquires for mailing of inserts or attachment of pdf files should be directed to the current president.

Conferences: the PSD/IAI holds its primary educational conference in the summer, usually the 3rd week of June. Costs for a table will vary from year to year but in 2003 and 2004, a vendor table cost $200.00. This price included the table, some meals, and the banquet. If you are unable to attend the conference we would welcome any donations of door prizes or welcome bag trinkets. In return, we will include vendor provided promotional literature in the attendee's welcome bag.

Mailing lists: The PSD/IAI does not sell its membership mailing list.

The PSD/IAI thanks all the vendors we have partnered with in the past and look forward to a rewarding relationship with old friends and the hope to make new friends as well.
