Competencies

Why I do what I do. The philosophy.

Whatever I do, I want everyone to have a choice, a voice, and a creative impact. My strengths are communication, teamwork, enthusiasm. I value transparent leadership and the synergism of group work and crowdsourcing. I look for solutions beyond myself, through a network of close professional relationships with people in multiple work environments with similar skills and unique resources. To know my user, I immerse myself in the same environments, using the same applications and competencies they're familiar with. This gives me the ability to create a better product, design, or event which the user—student, staff, or faculty—will better appreciate.

If it’s a good idea and it gets you excited, try it, and if it bursts into flames, that’s going to be exciting too. People always ask, ‘What is your greatest failure?’ I always have the same answer—We’re working on it right now, it’s gonna be awesome! —Jim Coudal
