Here, in a nutshell, is what happened in the standards world several days ago. Micro$oft decided to go their own way in IE8, propose the unthinkable, and the online web standards world became a madhouse. Thanks to Eric Meyer's twitter post, I was able to find this easy-to-follow tutorial entitled "X-UA-Lemur-Compatible." Note the blue beanied Zeldman at ALA (A List Apart). I doff mine to you.
