Responsible for administrative computing and advice to the executive staff (Provost, Senior Vice President, etc.) on plans, policy, and priorities for administrative information system.  Staff of 55+.  Developed Administrative Information Systems Plan for Cornell.

Developed an integrated administrative information system using "fourth generation" technology. Developed capacity to pro;duce administrative applications software for microcomputers as well.  Worked with Director of Academic Computing to coordinate computing services for campus.

As Associate Director, responsible for research and instructional computing service.  As Director, responsible for both academic and administrative computing with a staff of about 50.   Developed information systems plan for campus.  Influential in early introduction of microcomputers to academic computing.  Early member of BITNET. 

Served on Ph.D. committees in several departments including psychology, economics, and biology.  Taught statistics and information systems management in the School of Management.

Responsible for computing and information systems at the Center for Creative Leadership, a non-profit research and training organization.  Developed specialized research database, and general software for reporting test results as "English language" texts.  Role as center's statistical consultant; performed research in organizational behavior.  Served on graduate committees in psychology at UNCG.

                                    Director, Alcohol Safety Action Project Evaluation Program; and Visiting Research Associate

Responsible for evaluation project for two early pilot "drunk driving" programs in Oregon and Washington.  Produced a number of studies that have had national impact in this area.  Gained valuable experience working with government agencies; developed technical expertise with large research data bases.  Developed an inferential time series program which was used in traffic safety and child behavior studies.

Worked cooperatively with researchers in the area of child behavior; produced some important methodological techniques for measuring program effectiveness.  Served on Ph.D. committees in psychology and economics at the University of Oregon.
