I chose to create a diagram showing the structure of the Lovell Beach House. The house uses a series of structural columns that cross through the entire building giving it volume. I felt it was necessary to diagram the structure and support of the house because it is the most predominant element seen. Without these structural supports the house would be incapable of standing on its own. The supports are cleverly run throughout the entire house giving support to each floor of the structure as well as elevating it off the ground. No other elements in the Lovell Beach House are more predominant or important to the structure than the protrusions that allow for a structurally sound building.
