Do you want to share your music tastes? If you said yes, Last.FM is something you should check into. Last.FM is a site dedicated to keeping track of your music tastes, but it does it in an interesting way. The site has a client available for download which integrates into your music client of choice, then reports what songs you listen to. This allows Last.FM to see what you're into, while keeping track of your listening habits.
The Good
- Offers excellent breakdown of music tastes during any time period.
- The site is passive; set it up once, and forget about it.
- Offers suggestions as to what other music you many like.
- Client supports multiple platforms and music software.
The Bad
- Site design can be confusing.
- Slow at updating your music history at times.
- The site sometimes fails for days at a time, leaving you without your current listened to tracks.
