Plant Propagation
Plant propagation is the art and science of producing new plants. The process can be as simple as collecting seed and planting it, or as complicated as aseptic tissue culture of rescued embryo’s.

This course introduces the principles and practices of asexual and sexual plant propagation.
By the end of this class you will have experience with many common forms of plant propagation and should be able to figure out how to successfully propagate most plants. Specifically this class should help you:
1    To become familiar with common plant propagation techniques and equipment.
2    To become familiar with commercial scale plant propagation methods.
3    To develop and practice basic plant propagation skills.
4    To understand basic plant physiological processes that influence plant propagation.
5    To understand the role of environmental factors such as light, temperature, and water on plant propagation.
