“Caminante no hay camino, se hace camino al andar…”
Antonio Machado

Welcome to my Web Page!

I was born in Quito, Ecuador and after concluding my career in Speech Therapy, I went to Gallaudet University in Washington DC for an internship in Deaf Education.  For several years I worked in Ecuador as a teacher and sign language interpreter for the deaf community, a cross cultural coordinator for the Peace Corps, and as an ESL teacher.  In the year 2000, I moved to the United States where I worked in Boston, MA and Madison WI as a Spanish Teacher.

I am currently living in State College, PA where I am a graduate student in the Spanish Linguistics Program at The Pennsylvania State University, and a Spanish instructor in the Spanish Basic Language Program.
