I actually like blogging too, but, like you said, not with all these constraints. I did not have much fun blogging about technology. However, on the blog posts that we got to talk about first semester here and about 110H, I had fun because I got to write about my own personal feelings. I like blogging more than writing formal essays because I can throw in little side notes and I can use a freer tone. I am not constrained by grammar and I like thatt

I love that room that you and Team Wintermute work in. That is the most relaxed and comfortable place to get work done. The chairs are absolutely spectacular, and every now and then, I like to plug my laptop into the Dell plasma. :)

Forget this, try Jettman. Both are recycled versions of ancient games, but the social networking aspect really breathes new life into them, mostly for the competition, as you've stated.

There's also an alarm clock with wheels that runs away in a similar fashion. Might help get you out of bed, but what a pain for a roommate to have to put up with.

We're actually neck-deep in editing bacteria to do our whim. There are actually bacteria factories that produce certain materials for us. So your predictions are not that far off, though I feel nanotechnology will eventually surpass biogenetics in terms of possibility.

This would be totally crazy if this sort of technology were to be commercialized or actually put to practice. Who knows it probably already is. This would definitely put a lot of power into the hands of whoever is using it.

Paul...I have just gone down the list of your most recent posts to fulfill the comment requirement for the blogging project. I must say that I have just been trying to fill space with words...but when I saw this post, It brought me back to all of our time spent in 209. A lot of our teams success is due to you dude. Hahah, I saw this and I just had to comment. I could definitely use a program like this to remind me of important meetings or homework assignments. I always seem to forget the small stuff, and it's the small stuff that matters too, as they say. Thanks for info.

This is definitely the way technology is moving. It used to be you had to know a complicated code (HTML for websites). Now, things are getting more and more user-friendly and easier for those of us lacking technological skills.
