Now when I go on break, I actually stay on break. I didn't find the need to blog for a bit, but now I'm back to attempting to make things witty. I was exploring in Second Life today. It was fairly uneventful, except I have a monumental apology to make to the keepers of Microsoft island.

This is where I woke up in Second Life. I was still on Microsoft island. It was the same island I critically attacked in my overview of a Second Life space. However, I was standing in a finished auditorium with a projector with Microsoft's Second Life agenda. They plan to be the first to control a commercial airline within Second Life. Now this would obviously be for the comfort and atmosphere of being in first class, since teleporting covers transportation. That space shuttle of an aircraft is what they have been spending long hours scripting and testing. They don't currently have an estimated time frame in which we can expect to see it take off, but it was monumental and impressive.
I apparently visited the island in the heat of the project, and much of the island was in disrepair. posters like this popped up everwhere:
Spotlights were everwhere, the sunset was twice as beautiful, and it definitely felt like a Microsoft space. I suppose I just picked a horrible day to pass judgment on the island.
My apologies, Microsoft!!
