Sounds like you'll be doing some interesting research. I'm working with Dr. Carleen Maitland and Andrea on "Technology for Humanitarian Organization Coordination". I'm really excited for next semester now that I have this project to be involved with.

I know I'll definitely use Google's network for the same reason I use stuff like Google Docs. The integration between all their fantastic services can help me choose another of their services even though another competitor might have more features or look better. And I agree with Tim that if anything kills Facebook, it'll be the apps.

I liked number eight the best: You will go from goat to hero and back again multiple times within any given day. That sounds about right. It's not every profession that you can be considered a savior and a demon in the same day.

When your mod takes off I bet you make millions.
Remember when we totally didn't mod CS 1.6 but did make a sweet map. I really want to transplant myself into that engine and live in that map, sans all the guys with guns.

I got paired with Jim Jansen, the Professor who presented the IDEAS program to us. I've only had one meeting with him, but he seems like an awesome guy. The tagline for the research is "Economics meets search," and the more I read about possible topics he suggested, the more interested I become.

Yeah, I signed up to do a the Facebook Privacy research with Dr. Heng Xu. I will be meeting with her next week and I hope I am the chosen one! Hopefully this IST research position will be meaningful for our career.

Not a book but Im sure you will appreciate this if you havent heard, they are making Deus Ex 3. It was just announced recently.
