Activities
At Penn State University, there are plenty of activities that one could get involved with. From part time jobs to being a part of several clubs. The activities that I have been a part of at Penn State have challenged me on different levels, interpersonally and physically. Most of the activities have involved working with different people from all around the world. Personally, I have found this a very rewarding experience. Here are few that I have been a part of. I do miss all my co-employees and members.
The International Student Council (ISC) is an umbrella organization for 25 international student organizations at Penn State. I was elected the President of the International Student Council beginning of the academic year 2007. The position has given me a great opportunity to work closely with senior university officials and the ISC board members, who have already taken a greater initiative to further involvement of international students at The Pennsylvania State University. In addition, as a President of a minority organization, I serve on several committees whose main aim is to foster and promote diversity at Penn State.
