After working in the real world in various clerical positions, I decided to change directions and do something I’ve always wanted to do:  Write.  I’m a student at Penn State University working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with the journalism option.  My goal is to obtain a position writing or editing for a newspaper, magazine or blog.  I am an editor for our campus journal of arts, Panorama; and I write for our campus newspaper, The Roar. I have written several essays, research papers, short stories and poems for college courses.  My aim is to take the skills that I am learning in college and combine them with my clerical skills to be a good writer and editor.
