Spring means baseball

Or these days softball for my daughter who's now too old for Little League and plays on the Middle School softball team.  She's learning to adjust to pitches coming underhand rather than overhand, both as a batter and as a catcher. Her catching still needs to improve some, so mostly the coach has her in centerfield with only one game so far as catcher. But her hitting has been strong after the first game, she's had at least one hit in every game. No HR's yet, but one triple that was pretty sweet.

For my son, umpiring Little League has begun and he's working 4 nights/week.  I won't see much of him until after graduation in June.  For the hubby, as Little League president in the area, he's been busy too.
