Variations on a Korean Folk Song

    As part of our Instrumental Methods and Materials class, we observed an ensemble rehearsal at public school several times throughout the semester.  This unit plan is an effort to synthesize all of the information we have gathered thus far as future teachers.  We were to create a hypothetical unit plan that could be implemented in the setting in which we observed.  Someday, the plan may even be used as part of our student teaching.  This unit plan contains all the information needed to effectively teach “Variations on a Korean Folk Song” by John Barnes Chance to an accomplished high school ensemble.
