| Here is the sad fate that awaited nearly all the Page draglines that worked in Centre and Clearfield counties. The two photos above show what seems to be an ancient 600-series machine that was parked briefly south of Philipsburg, just off U.S. Route 322, before being scrapped in 1969. At right is another vintage Page, a Model 726, that worked for many years around the Albert's Airport area near Morrisdale. It has already been cannibalized for parts in this November 1969 view. Compare with a 1955 black-and-white photo.
