RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

This past spring, I finished my undergraduate honors thesis entitled Relationships Between Transverse Aeolian Ridges and Climate on Mars.  As an undergraduate, my research has been very diverse and has spanned many disciplines.  Earlier research under Dr. Isaac Brewer included how modern terrorists use the internet as a recruitment and cyberplanning tool.  I then helped Dr. Brewer with research regarding disaster management scenarios at Penn State.  Finally, my research focused on planetary sciences under Dr. Derrick Lampkin and Dr. James Kasting.

In addition, I have created a display for the EMS Museum's GeoWall using Thermal Emission Imaging Spectrometer (THEMIS) imagery with the help of Chuck Anderson.  This feature will be available in the EMS Museum in the Spring of 2008.

In June of 2008, I was in Houston, TX, where I continued to work on research that began during my LPI internship the previous summer (refer to my "Internships" page for more details).  After returning from Houston, I immediately moved to Providence, RI, where I am currently starting research here at Brown University.

I will keep you all posted when significant progress has been made in my research here.
