I bet they exist - automations. How easy was it to find all those free dance moves for our SL event? They all loop, so theoretically you just have to move every 10 min or so just to keep yourself logged in.

Haha, well, I don't know if it is possible for people to go on a realistic Second Life date. Because Second Life offers so many more possibilities than there are in real life, SL users would not go on a "normal" date. Plus, who is nerdy enough to take a girl out on Second Life???

I like this story because it is a perfect example of what Thomas Friedman talks about in The World is Flat. Before the world was flat, this was never possible. Now, however, if you have the smarts and the drive, you have a chance to succeed no matter where you are from.

Well I still hate SecondLife, but it's nice to see someone found something to do. Technology is used in a lot of sick and perverted ways when it comes to love, romance, sex, etc. It's nice to see you found something decent. Although, not to sound cyincal, but wouldn't a real date be easier and probably more fun? Hopefully, this is not where dating is going. That would be a sad day.

I've been there for a few of these attacks. The other day I also found my self subject to the attack of bubbles popping and screaming f**k. There were hundreds of bubbles. It was hilarious.

I guess there are both advantages and disadvantages to having such an open sandbox.

That sounds like a cool research project. I think that IDEAS program is a really good idea. I never thought that I could do research as a Freshmen, or that I would even be very good at it. I'm going to do a research project next semester with Dr. Cameron. I think it will be fun. Besides, I have too much free time in College, and I'm getting too good at games like Guitar Hero III.
