UNDERGRADUATE: I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University. Since I love learning about Chemistry, I picked up a minor in that as well.
During undergrad, I worked in many different labs. When I was in Chemical Engineering, I worked in Dr. Ann. Schmiedekamp's lab as an ACURA (Abington College Undergraduate Research Activites) student. I helped generate orbital images using Gaussian. Through my work, I earned co-authorship in a journal article in Dalton Transactions. Then, at University Park, I worked in a Chemical Engineering lab headed by Dr. Wayne Curtis. I learned the basics of the lab (dishes, autoclaving, etc.) and learned about bioreactors. Shortly after, I moved to a Psychology lab supervised by Dr. Judith F. Kroll. It is through this lab that I conducted my honors thesis research. My research involved modeling typing as a second language as opposed to speaking. A copy of this thesis is available upon request.
GRADUATE: I am also a newly admitted graduate student in their Cognitive Psychology program. I work with David Rosenbaum in the Laboratory for Cognition and Action. Soon I hope to start work using tremor to investigate language.
