                To complete our project with precision we searched activities online and through stores.  We received prices from stores on electric toothbrushes and the quality of the toothbrushes on the market.  Also we used the internet to search toothbrush attachments and mechanical assembly to rebuild our toothbrush to the customers needs.

Library/Online

                The Crest Spinbrush is available to the public at a low cost range of 5-9 dollars.  It is offered at a low price; however the product is above satisfactory in categories that toothbrush buyers care dearly about.  The Spinbrush is an average piece of machinery that has acceptable battery life and average ergonomics and aesthetics.  The toothbrush has been proven to clean teeth effectively and help to clean and strengthen teeth and gums.  However it has many advantages the product ranks low in other important categories that customers care about such as cleaning power and quality. 

Patent Research

                To help Crest keep their product strictly theirs, the design of some parts inside of the Crest Spinbrush toothbrush are protected by law with US patents.  The parts that are protected by law are: the oscillating motion of the bristles, the motor function, and the switch design and operation.
