A Call for Articles

The ASCE's Journal of Architectural Engineering is publishing a series of short, peer-reviewed articles on architectural engineering education. Each article is intended to describe either the architectural engineering program at a particular college or university, or collaborative projects at schools with separate architecture and engineering programs. Descriptions of A-E education efforts worldwide are welcome.

Articles should be between 2,000 and 6,000 words. Authors are encouraged to include information on program philosophy, degrees preferred and descriptions of current programs, enrollment, required and elective course offerings, relationships between A-E programs and other programs and departments, and information on graduate employment. Inclusion of images of student design work, educational lab demonstrations, curriculum development research, etc. is encouraged.

Papers should be clearly useful to university readers of the journal but also hold the interest of practitioners. Articles should not include in-depth historical information often published in departmental histories.

Manuscript drafts of papers should be sent in duplicate with draft artwork directly to the following address:
