Michael J. Dooris Executive Director, Office of Planning and Institutional Assessment Affiliate Associate Professor of Higher Education The Pennsylvania State University I’ve
been at Penn State since 1981 in a variety of positions, including in the
university budget office and in undergraduate education, and currently report
to the Executive Vice President and Provost. Previously, I worked as a
statistician at the U.S. Census Bureau and in industry. I’m
also a faculty member in Penn State’s higher education graduate program. I’ve
consulted on strategic planning and institutional research in Europe, Africa,
South America, and the United States, and was a CIC Academic Leadership
Fellow in 1997-98. In 2010 I completed a Fulbright fellowship in Brazil. My
Ph.D. is in higher education from Penn State, with an M.B.A from the
