I’m trying out a new blogging tool called “ecto” (just to see how it works). I used this tool a long time ago when it was called kung-tunes. It uses technorati tags by default.
Right now, American Tune from the album “There Goes Rhymin' Simon” by Paul Simon is playing in iTunes.

I have also been using Ecto. Another offline OS X tool that I tried was Marsedit.
There didn't seem to be too much of a difference beyond price. The most useful thing was being able to work on a post throughout the day rather than all at once.
