A Center Daily Times article reports that the PA Game Commission is offering $100 for every tagged deer harvested in selected management units. Is this enough of an incentive? What are the odds on nabbing one?
Did timberland prices follow the trend we saw in stocks and housing prices. Not according to this thoughtful article. Arguments for stable values include long term management goals, low discount rates, forthcoming bioenergy markets and carbon taxes, and that there is 'more money chasing fewer acres.
