I could go off on a two day long rant on how much I cannot stand Ann Coulter and everything she stands for, but I think this and this will allow me to do things I need to do and you can see for yourself.
Also, I found a link off of Newsvine on Coulter, comparing her to Britney Spears.
If you don't know who she is, you should. I'm sure she actually believes what she says and publicizes, but it's all hyped up and dramatized for ratings, viewers and publicity. Everything that comes out of her mouth is calculated to create maximum potential scandal and controversy. Ann Coulter gives conservatives, Christians, Americans and females a bad rap. As a female American, I am very upset about what she says and its impact on US world relations.

I agree with you that much of what she says is absolutely nuts. To say that the widows are happy about losing their husbands is disgusting. However, I think that if you sift through her nutiness, (which is hard) she has some good points. In fact, if she wasn't a raving lunatic, she may actually be heard sometimes. For example, she says women should not have the right to vote because Democrats would not win so much. If she was normal, she would have said that women tend to favor Democrats. I would have said that this was a good point (see the gender gap of the 2004 election). She also says liberalism is "godless." Once again, if she would have phrased it in a way in which we wouldn't consider her crazy, she may have had a point. Liberalism is not "godless," but it does have some principles that are against the Christian ideals (stem cell research, abortion, gay marriage, etc.). This is not to say that liberals are evil or "godless," just that they have views that are not always in line with the established church. Ann Coulter may have some good points; it is just too bad that she is way too nuts to convey those points in an appropriate manner.
