Comment on "Why This Blog Title?"

I shoot myself (20 gauge Remington 2100 series!) but I find it easier to sneak away and go fly-fishing. You can jump to the shore and throw out a few flies before anyone even notices that you're late for dinner :)

I found the blog via the green data centers post, but good to find a fellow fly-fisherman too! Cheers!

Wow, that sounds complex. Seriously, my head hurts now...

- Free Screensavers

Comment on "Helpdesks of the Future or Past?"

I agree completely, and your suggestions get to the heart of changing the "culture of the masses" around technology. The quality and timeliness of the support (or help) I get as an inexperienced technology user has a direct correlation to my willingness to try it again - or even better - try something new. A lot of times, the help desk employee is a life saver and getting that support at the right time makes all the difference!

- Pam Fuller
