From Presentation to Publication: Turning Your Conference Paper into a Journal Article

| 0 Comments | 0 TrackBacks
Many of us have questions about what it takes to turn a conference paper into a journal article. On Wednesday, March 23 (4:15-5:30 p.m.) the Graduate Student Forum will host "From presentation to publication: Turning you conference paper into a journal article." This panel discussion will focus on best ways to get your work published.

Knowledgeable panelists will share the experiences they've had with the publication process. They'll offer advice and answer questions such as how much time it takes to get published, whether to make all the changes reviewers ask for, how to choose the best journal, and even how to handle rejection. Light refreshments will be served in the Carnegie lobby following the event.

Event details:
When: March 23, 4:15-5:30 p.m.
Where: 71 Willard Building.

See you there!
