Information for Prospective Graduate Students Our lab welcomes student applicants with diverse backgrounds including: Physics, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science. All students interest in joining the lab should to apply through Penn State Graduate Admissions. Currently, we have a PhD student position for the soft nanofiber films project. Research projects for PhD students: 1. Enyzme-stability and protein functionalization of nanofilms 2. Nanofilm-mediated nanoparticle assembly 3. Spatial and temporal controlled release of drugs by nanofilms 4. Novel piezzo/pyro/dielectric coatings based on nanofilms 5. Computational modeling and theory of soft nanofilms growth Information for Prospective Postdoctoral Scholars A post-doctoral position is available in our lab We are seeking a highly qualified POLYMER CHEMIST to assist in the development and synthesis of the soft nanofiber films. The candidate must possess a doctoral degree in chemistry or polymer science with lab experience. The candidate must have an excellent track record of original research, and the ability to work as part of a team.
