Welcome to my homepage. At the Applied Research Lab of Penn State I am the head of the Product & Process Design Department in the Manufacturing Systems Division. We support government and industry with mechanical design services, and we conduct basic and applied research on design methods.
I hold a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science. Although a mechanical engineering student, my coursework and field of study was more closely aligned to Operations Analysis/Decision and Control than traditional Mechanical Engineering, due to my emphasis on control theory, algorithms, and statistics.
I am also a Commander in the Naval Reserve, having formerly flown E-2C's while on active duty.
