As a member of the percussion studio, I am given many opportunities to perform. I have performed with many of Penn State's wonderful ensembles. So far I have been in Percussion Ensemble II, Percussion Ensemble I, Mallet Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Symphonic Wind Ensemble. I have also accompanied Essence Of Joy and have performed a piece written by a PSU composition student at Musica Nova. The above picture is of me and the other percussionists after performing at Heinz Hall.
The percussion studio recitals have given me a chance to perform solo works for an audience in Esber Hall. I have performed pieces for both snare drum and marimba. The recital pieces I have performed include Elfentaz, Thundering Through, Yellow After The Rain, and Rosewood Blues.
