My name is Michael and I am a Penn State music education major.  As a percussionist,  I am in the studio of Professor Dan Armstrong.  Before I came to Penn State, I was in the concert band, marching band, and indoor drumline at Bensalem High School.  When I was an upperclassmen in the drumline, I was expected to help out the freshman and show them the ropes.  It was then that I had my first taste of being a teacher, specifically of music, and I haven't looked back since.  I have had great experiences teaching percussion students at Norristown High School and Lewistown Area High School.  I have also had the pleasure of being a camp counselor at Southampton Summer Day Camp.
