Title:		Multilevel Iterative Methods for Large Scale Algebraic Systems

Abstract:

In this talk, I will first give a brief introduction to the
multilevel iterative method based on space decomposition and
subspace correction for solving large scale algebraic systems arising
from the discretization of partial differential equations. I will
then talk about some recent results on robust and optimal multilevel
iterative methods for singular and nearly singular systems with
applications to linear elasticity, Maxwell equations, incompressible
Newtonian as well as non-Newtonian flow equations.
