Wow. I love the perspective of a child. They have yet to make the distinction between the natural and the supernatural so everything is possible.

Sorry about your grandfather. I enjoyed meeting all of your grandparents at the birthday party we came to.

Hopefully your kids can remember them as they grow older... I am always thankful that as a kid I was able to know all of my grandparents and your kids were very fortunate to know all of their great grandparents.

Just for the record my favorite part of the preschool day with Jude, Scooby, et. al. was nap time. I think we should institute mandatory nap time every afternoon at work.

It just so happens that I am GREAT friends with Velma and she invited me to go on an adventure with the crew. I was actually able to drive the Mystery Machine for a while, but mostly enjoyed just sitting in the back with Shaggy and Scooby. No huge mysteries to solve while I was along, but that's ok with me because the LAST thing I feel like doing at this point in my life is chasing down any ghosts.

Correction my dear. I will be having jalapeno peppers whenever I choose. Karenna I think will choose not to do so. Of course, she learned that sometimes Daddy isn't teasing when he says things. All in all, this was one of those valuable life lessons for her. Heck it didn't even require stitches.

Oh, Nikki, isn't that just a horrible thing to do to little kids? We have a stack of pink slips we saved from Trav's school days. Some weeks, we'd get five pink slips home. Some of the stuff he got written up for was ridiculous. We finally just made a joke out of it - we discussed wallpapering our house in pink slips. What else can you do when your kid just can't win?

Poor little guy. It just makes my heart ache.

For the record, it doesn't even really need tobe John Williams. It could be just an alternative arrangement of his music. As for the Lightsaber sound effect...yeah that pretty much sells it to me. For anyone who ever played Knights of the Old Republic, how many times did you draw the lightsaber for absolutely no reason? I lost count after about 4 million.

I believe we figured out the problem a miscalculation on the flour. (I may have skipped a few scoops.)

I may repeat this experiment slightly by doing the cookies the right way next time only with a tad less flour (instead of much less) to retain the chewy goodness of the Squishy Cookies.
