The CIU 10 Development Center for Adults (located within the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology in Pleasant Gap, PA) is a non-profit adult education provider offering free classes in the areas of adult basic education (including reading, writing, and mathematics); GED exam preparation; LPN and South Hills School of Business and Technology entrance exam preparation; English as a second language training; and citizenship preparation. In addition, the Center has partnered with Bellefonte Area School District and Penn State's Continuing Education to provide an Adult Diploma Program and a math improvement course.
