English 202H has been a fabulous experience. And this honors section has been an eye-opening journey into the social, economic, and political issues surrounding literacy. While the texts and discussions are extremely engaging, the service learning project has been my favorite part. You actually serve the community and take a proactive approach toward the discovery of literacy. The rewards of seeing your learner understand a cultural difference or read a chapter book are worth all the time you invest in this course.
