Associate
Professor of French and Linguistics

Research Interests:
My research interests fall in two areas of theoretical
linguistics: syntax and semantics. I am particularly interested in representations
of the interface between these two modules in terms of the generative and
model-theoretic frameworks. I have done extensive work on the syntax and/or
semantics of restructuring, causatives, affected datives, raising
constructions, ergatives, tough-movement,
and middles.
