Sign-on:
1. Use your PSU ID and Password
Creating an Issue:
1. Click on “Create Issue” on left side of screen
2. Fill in “Summary” with a brief description of the problem
3. If you fixed the Issue then at “Status” select Resolved from the drop down, otherwise it will default to Open.
4. “User ID” enter in the PSU ID of the caller or person having the problem then click on “Select Contact”. This should bring in the persons contact information or give you a list to select from.
5. “Problem Type” select the appropriate type from the drop down list
6. “Category” ” select the appropriate category from the drop down list
7. “Symptom” ” select the appropriate symptom from the drop down list
8. “Platform” Select the operating system the user is running
9. “Description” Enter the full description of the problem, also any contact information for students such as hours available for appointment. Any other special items or descriptions go here.
10. “Time Spent” enter the hours and minutes spent on the phone, entering the issue and resolving the issue in this area.
11. Click “Go” on the bottom of the screen to save the work order. It will automatically assign the work order to Karen Pothering.
