HDFS Graduate Teaching Assistant Training 2008-2009: Trained graduate teaching assistants in strategies for helping students with paper revisions, using technology in the classroom, and preventing and detecting plagiarism and cheating.
HDFS Undergraduate Website Revisions 2005-2006: Designed changes to the website to provide searchable web pages for undergraduates, to reflect changes in major requirements, and to eliminate the need for paper copies of the undergraduate handbook. Consulted with faculty members, staff, and students regarding desired changes to the site.
HDFS Senior Survey Revisions 2005-2006: Worked with faculty, staff, and students to design and implement changes in the online exit survey for HDFS graduates. Changes reflected the revised departmental emphasis on cultural competence and the inclusion of questions concerning the Honors Program.
Technology in the Classroom 2004-2006: Consultant for implementing technology for teaching in HDFS: Assisted faculty and teaching assistants in using ANGEL: Course Management System, Excel, and Powerpoint to improve student learning and ease of teaching.
