This is a GIF capture of a short segment in the first
Halo Wars game trailer. I chose this format because it illustrates how easy it is to make basic looping animations. However, unlike SWFs, it lacks capability for greater user interaction.

The SWF animation above is a moving team logo for a
FIRST Robotics team. Using Flash, smoother and more-interactive sequences are possible, but the time needed to create such designs also increases.

The third example above is a Flash sequence with a GIF embedded within: a photo of an eraser "wiping" my
tutorial image from Assignment 3. It illustrates how versatile the SWF format is, especially its capability of supporting multiple internal image formats.
